PADI Divemaster
Introduction
If you’d like to trade your office job for a life underwater or have the desire to travel the world, completing your PADI Divemaster is the first step in making those dreams come true! During the course you will learn more about dive theory along with perfecting your dive skills and have fun doing it! You will have one of our very experienced staff members mentoring you as well as the opportunity to learn from other instructors. We have the luxury of having an in house PADI Course Director who is always available as well as a Master Instructor and 3 IDC Staff Instructors who regularly teach Instructor candidates and have a multitude of wealth and are ready to share! You will get to assist of real courses including PADI Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Rescue and maybe even some PADI specialties. You will learn detailed aspects of diving and even get to guide customers at Dahab’s finest divesites. Throughout you course you will have the opportunity to visit all the marvelous dive sites in Dahab, not just stuck on the house reef. We will teach you all aspects of the dive industry and we want you to leave prepared to work as a dive professional. If you want to complete your PADI Divemaster Course for more experience and don’t have plans to work in the dive industry, no amount of diving will give you the experience than the Divemaster Course.
As a PADI Divemaster you will be qualified to:
*Assist a PADI Instructor during the training sessions for any PADI Diver course
*Conduct the PADI Skin Diver course and PADI Discover Snorkeling program *Conduct the PADI Discover Local Diving experience
*Conduct the PADI Scuba Review program
*Lead Certified Divers on underwater tours
*Teach Emergency First Response courses after successfully completing an Emergency First Response Instructor Course
During the Divemaster Course you will extend your dive knowledge and hone your skills to a professional level. Watermanship and stamina are evaluated together with diving skills, which will be developed to demonstration quality. Along with assisting on PADI Courses you will get the full experience of working the dive industry.
There are 2 ways to achieve the PADI Divemaster certification and they are listed below;
Internship
The standard time for the Internship option is 4 weeks. You will be assisting our instructors on PADI courses and guided diving as well as fine tuning your dive skills and theory. You will need a minimum of 20 dives to begin this course. You have the opportunity of working first-hand with students and working on the dives alongside experienced professional Instructors in a busy centre catering for many different nationalities and diving in many different dive environments. You will also have the opportunity for hands-on experience with compressor operations, dive centre logistics, and to learn the day-to-day running of a busy dive centre in the Red Sea. Along with plenty of dive experience you will also have tons of fun!
Intensive
Although the course requirements are the same, the Intensive course is ideal for someone on a tighter schedule. This course can be done in as little as 12 days with a minimum of 50 dives and it is required that you obtain your materials to study before starting your course with Poseidon.

| Requirements: Over 18. Valid Rescue Diver certificate. Medical: You must complete a PADI medical form before you start this course. A copy of this form is available for download if you wish to complete one before you come here. Equipment: Full equipment hire is provided as part of this course.
