DSAT Technical Diving Courses

DSAT Tec Deep Diver
A full qualification for technical diving, this course will teach you how to make accelerated decompression dives using air and up to 100% oxygen to a maximum depth of 50 metres. The course is nine days with 12 dives and will cover the use of Tec diving skills, equipment and procedures. You can also do the first part of this course – Tec Deep Level One, which introduces you to decompression and allows you to gain experience at that level before carrying on to the end of the Tec Deep qualification

DSAT Tec Trimix Diver
If you want to dive beyond the limits of deep air diving, the Tec Trimix course will introduce you to the use of helium to both reduce narcosis and oxygen content in your breathing gas too allow dives up to 75 metres deep. This intensive nine day course uses the most up-to-date technical diving methodologies.

DSAT Gas Blender
The DSAT Gas Blender course will train you to become a competent and qualified gas blender, allowing you to provide gas mixes to appropriately certified consumers. You will learn the physical properties of oxygen, its associated hazards, handling requirements and what cleaning equipment is necessary. Finally, you will learn the five methods of obtaining the desired enriched air nitrox mix.

DSAT Tec Deep Instructor
You may have gone deep, but are you ready to teach it? For those of you who are serious about becoming a technical instructor or joining the DSAT instructional team, the Tec Deep Diver course is the best and most comprehensive technical diving instruction in the market today. DSAT's TecRec program instructional philosophies and course goals directly address the more demanding and challenging nature of technical diving.
Please remember that you still need to audit a complete Tec Deep course in addition to attending this course prior to applying for Instructor.

DSAT Tec Trimix Instructor
This is one of the most rigorous courses available in technical diving and rightly so. The course gives you the opportunity to show your knowledge by demonstrating your teaching abilities in the classroom and in the water, culminating in teaching actual students at the maximum depth of the Tec Trimix course. Not a course to be undertaken lightly as certification gives great responsibility. A highly worthwhile experience that will allow those qualifying to be sure they are at the pinnacle of technical diving

Tec Deep & Tec Trimix Instructor Exam
For those of you wanting to cross over your qualifications to Tec Deep and need to take the Instructor exams, you now no longer need to take them at an IE – you can come to us as we have a DSAT Instructor Trainer who is qualified to hold these exams for you.
