TDI - Technical Diving Courses

TDI Advanced Nitrox Diver
The Advanced Nitrox course will introduce you to Nitrox mixes from 40 to 100% oxygen and although it is not a decompression course we will also introduce you to some of the principles and equipment used in decompression diving during this three day course.

TDI Decompression Procedures Diver
This four day course will train you how to plan and conduct staged decompression dives up to 45 metres deep and covers equipment configuration, deco theory and gas usage and dive planning.

TDI Extended Range Diver
Extended Range takes you onto accelerated decompression diving down to 55 metres, using air as back gas and Nitrox or oxygen as decompression gases. Five days visiting some of Dahab’s most famous dive sites!

TDI Entry Level Trimix Diver
Similar in content to the Extended Range course, except using ‘normoxic trimix’ as a back gas to reduce the effects of nitrogen narcosis and to a maximum depth of 60 metres.

TDI Advanced Trimix Diver
This course will provide you with the training required to push to depths beyond the range of normal air. Using helium to reduce oxygen content and reduce narcosis levels allows for dives up to 100 metres deep.

TDI Advanced Nitrox Instructor
If you want to go professional in technical then this is the first step on the ladder to a rewarding profession. During the course you’ll learn more about the theory of diving, perfect your diving ability. Once qualified you will be able to conduct diving activities such as guided dives and snorkel trips and assist instructors on a whole range of PADI courses.

TDI Decompression Procedures Instructor
This five day course will train you how educate students in the methods used to plan and conduct staged decompression dives up to 45 metres deep and covers the teaching of equipment configuration, deco theory and gas usage and dive planning.

TDI Extended Range Instructor
This five day course shows you how to teach accelerated decompression diving down to 55 metres, using air as back gas and Nitrox or oxygen as decompression gases. This course requires pre-work and is only for experienced Extended Range Divers who are Decompression Procedures Instructors

TDI Advanced Trimix Instructor
This is the ultimate course in technical diving. You will be shown how to teach, and take responsibility for students down to 100 metres. The course requires a good grasp on the theory required for Trimix diving, as well as competency in executing Trimix dives. You will be expected to have significant Trimix and extended range experience and also to be an extended range instructor, to the extent that you are comfortable at great depth and able to focus on the students with you.
